Wedding jewellery and CRAFT-alnica blog challenge

OMG it's been a long time since I blogged.
But I have been bussy...beside visiting classes, I've been crafting, a lot.
I got back to my wire and pearls...and this is what I came out...

two wedding sets....one in "baby blue" and one in "dirty pink"....














Of course I also made two cads.
First is "the purse"
and





the second card is for the 3. marriage aniversary...
the flower is a magnet, so the couple could put the flower on the frige...


Anyway, I entered this card to a CRAFT-alnica blog challenge. The inspiration was a photo from Vladka (I love her work)...on the photo were two diferent flowers (yellow, white), latern with a candle, pen and an old book (I think). My associations were: memories, fun times long ago, happiness, love, family, warmth,....
and I think marriage is all that especialy with these two people.

CRAFT-alnica and an Elephant!

Uauuuu....I guess I'm in wild animals mood! :-) First the lion and now elephant.

This card was so easy to do and it came together piece by piece as I went along....

First I got the digi image and the main paper pad (the one with the elephants) and from then on...easy peasey! A bit of ribbon folded in a special way, two more paper pads, some distress ink here and there and of course instead of flowers (so that the card can be for a boy) stones for a mosaic and a few pearls that lead to a possible future message...
Of course I had to follow the sketch that CRAFT-alnica, the new and the first Slovene challenge blog, set.
I'm so happy that the ladies decided to started this blog so good luck and a lot of creativity ladies! You got my support!

The Lion - The King

Well, nothing with the phototransfers...I guess I don't have the right printer. :-( But I'll keep trying.

In the meantime, I have been a bussy bee with the Lion...
I just had to do something with this digi image I had of a Lion. The colours of course would be the colours of green, yellow, orange.... and then the card just sprung! With the few paw stamps and the caro stamp on the side......even my dear thought it is sweet! :-)
This will be a card for a brave young boy, who is not afraid of this "mean" Lion! :-)



Later I saw that it fits to a lot of challenges on the net so I'm entering this card for:

* Friday sketchers (sketch).....that I followed
* Stamp something (distress)....I used distressed inks all over the card
* Cupcake craft challenge (Going green)...there is a lot of splashes of green :-)

Photo Transfers

I guess I got a bit bored with cardmaking, so I tried something different, something new for me.... PHOTO TRANSFERS.
I have seen some beautiful ones and I thought I really would like that....

Lets get to work!

First some research....internet, blogs and youtube watching....and then I hit the shop. OK, I got Fimo, I got beautiful picture of angel which I thought I will transfer easily....according to internet posts.

Well I'm on my fourth try ( I also tried with Das material) and I still didn't get it....but I'll try again until I get it! :-)

I haven't work with Fimo for a long time and I guess I'll do something with it in the meantime...while I figure it out what am I doing wrong.

Besides working...well trying to work.... with fimo, I have done some decorations...read colourfull Easter eggs...

and I got an order to do a gift for a girl...a beaded bracelet. Of course a beautiful bracelet can't go away without beautiful wooden box...pics next time.

Chicken and eggs...it's that time of year :-)

This card is from my set of Easter cards that I'm going to send to my family and friends. It's lively and the hen at the ribbon is just perfect...spring is near!

This card is for my grandfather, who will be 81 in 27. March. This is a card for him because he's a wine grower and has a big vineyard. I hope he likes it. I'm entering it for the Cards for men challenge....this week the theme is "Happy birthday"!

Bunnies, eggs, flowers...

The Easter is getting closer and it's time to make some Easter cards for my family and friends.

This bunny is so cute that I just had to use it...it's digital and I coloured it with my penciles + waterbrush. Also I used some greenish/flowerish cardstock, an old piece of ribbon and a purple coaster...yes you read correctly, a paper coaster.




I saw that I can enter this card into a several challenges:
1. A spoon full of sugar (Recycle)....an old piece of ribbon and a purple coaster
2. A cute card Thursday (Celebrations)....celebrating Easter time
3. A Friday sketch
4. Stamp with fun (Spring)....Easter is in spring. :-)




This one is for a baby...I have no idea for which one, because a lot od my friends are expecting...
But I think it's so cute...
