The Great Gatsby

Last week I saw a trailer for the new movie The Great Gatsby. 

I got inspired.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm gonna.

Black, pink, bling, posh, ....

Artful, artish, art story

Finally I got some time to finish my "tag" (it's actually a card)

for Tim Holtz's 12 tags of 2013 for month of May.

 

 

 

He used rubones and so did I. Very versatile idea-ology product.

I like it.

Besides rubones I used on my card some other embelishments,

distress inks (my favorite is Vintage photo) and stamps.

PRECIOUS BABY GIRL

 

When I first saw this photo I just had to make a card.

She is just dangling in this pouch looking sweet and beautiful.

She is happy and content.

 

I used a 6x6 pattern paper pad in brown and pinkish colour, some lace ribbon, stamps for words, crow and wings, a TH's chit chat word, a heart, some pinkish roses, a gem and a vintage photo of a baby girl. I cut the wings out and glued them on. Nothing to complicated, but I just love the way it turn out.

I like making cards by order as long as I have enough informations 
about the recipient of the card.

This one is for a retirement. I hope now she has enought time for her traveling.

  Its all symbolic. End of an era, the new begining...

pot + ovanje ..... a way + a journey

 Map of the world, arrow for the direction, aeroplane and of course a camera.

Masking is the technique I used.
