Summer earings

I haven't forgot about beads...here and there I do some stuff...
Here is a set of summer earings.

I love scrapbooking

Here are two more.

First is for Matic, my baby boy.

This is a little detail. I used plain cardboard wings. On which I used paper napkin technic, then I apply crackle paint (Tim Holtz) and after it has dried I emphasize the cracks with distress ink.

Again, photos are not as good as it should be. I just can't get the right light. :-)

This is about our new life that is growing.

I loooove this little roses. Again I used a lot of distressing to achive this "vintage" look. :-)

First Scrapbooking

My both orders had arrived, from UK and US. So I had no excuse, but to start scrapbooking.


My theme for this "the real one" was trucks.

My son is crazy about them. So here's playing with this trucks in the sandbox and enjoying the sun.

Adventure on a farm

It's time for boys!



I created this card for my cousin's b'day. He's into farming and stuff so I think this one will be just for him. His family has a farm with cows, pigs and of course a few horses. I just hope it's not too girly. :-)

Butterfly Tilda

Here is butterfly Tilda in a birthday card for a 2-year-old girl named Enya. It fits in a couple of challenges:

• CRAFT-alnica - butterflys (it's obvious)
  
• Papertake weekly - white and bright (I chose white and red)
  
• Simon Says - Sing it baby! (my song for this challenge is Butterfly by Mariah Carey)
  
• The ABC Challenge - A is for August (we are in August and Enya has b'day in August)
  
• Creative Inspirations - 5 flowers, 3 papers, 1 ribbon (done)
  
• Truly Scrumptious - a sketch (done).

Although red is not my colour I'm pleased with the result. I hope Enya will love it too.

In the meantime I'm waiting for my shippment of scrapbook supplies...and it has already been sent to me so any day now....and I'll start scrapbooking big time. I just hope I'll like it and I'll be good at it.

Long time no new blog post

OMG! It's been a while. But since the last blog entry...a lot happend...new things...lovely things...to make me smile! :-)
New job, new life....and no time to create. Well, my mind has been working 100km/h, but actually not a lot came out of it.
Nevertheless, I have done a few b'day invitations, a few b'day cards, a wedding gift (a frame and a card) and a few pieces of wire jewellery.
Photos will be added later.

But I guess my time off is now over...I got inspired...and me not being me, if I wanted to try sometnig new. This time, scrapbooking and for the one and only reason...my son. I want to do a scrapbook dedicated to my son.

And for that (that's just my excuse) I went shopping! Since I really love Kristina Werner, I decided to shop at Two Peas in A bucket. Although I'm a bit worried about the customs...they will problably charge a lot for the package...and in the end I'll pay a LOT, but then again I'm not shopping there a lot, It's the first time.

Second thing...I got hung up on Tim Holtz's stuff. At home I got two of his distress inks, but it really didn't appeal to me. I use them but did'n really know what to do with them. Now that I did a bit of a research on scrapbooking, I got interested....resulting in "Jana went shopping" for Tim Holtz stuff.
Since Two Peas don't have a lot of TimHoltz's stuff, I went to The Glitter pot. My wallet is getting thiner. :-)

As I said I like trying new things, new technics...the only problem is that when I decide to try something new, I have to buy supply, although I have a bit at home.

I just hope everything will be here as soon as possible (from US and UK) so that my creativity and ideas will be still in my head.

I just have to mention, I really love blog and creations from Jana a.k.a. Preprosto bogastvo (http://preprostobogastvo.blogspot.com/). I got inspired at her blog. She's also having classes, but have to check it out when.
