# b'dayinvitations

A few weeks ago I was asked if I would do 20+ invitations for a B'day party for a 70 years old gentelman.

I said OK and this is what I made.

Each one is different bacause I don't do same ones.

blue under wings

This one was inspired by a big Prima "lace" stamp which I embossed with TH distress powder.

I added a blue flower and some wings.

#vselepo in pink

Again vintage roses, this time in pink with some others flowers ... in pink. :-)

Vladka and Tina with Ko me inspirira # 23 challenge want to see not just outside

but also the inside of a card.

I added, you guessed it, a vintage rose. :-)

# vintage buttons

Inspiration for this card was the piece of paper which I distressed with very strong colours of TH's Distress inks (blues, purples, oranges, greens and

vintage photo - which is by-the-way my favourite distress colour).

Then I "added" drops of water. I just love the effect it makes when water "eats" the colour, which can only be done with distress inks.

I shaped the piece of paper into a tag and added a few words:

#birthday, #joy, #journey, #thebest, #allgood.

At the bottom I added three vintage buttons and three roses (used vintage photo to distress them).

The last embelishment was the TH's remnant rub-ones (Words). Love it!

For the final look I distressed the edges with vintage photo, and that what every card I made gets at the end.

Vintage in the new black. :-)

#vintage roses

I love "vintage", so the theme for the next CRAFT-alnica challenge was just right for me - "vintage roses" Love to use vintage roses on my cards and tags or whatever. :-)

I used a few roses, a star and a "glass tag". I did a textured background and used soft spring colours.

With these cards I tried a new technique, well it's not new, but for me it's new, because I haven't tried it before. Stiching. It's a bit time consuming, but the final result is, in my opionion, gorgeous. I did these minimalistic retro b'day cards with some embelishments.
