Advent wreath

Every year we made our own advent wreath. Every year is something different.
This year we made it out of feathers. A bold colour, but I like it. I added 4 candles and
bits and pieces.
I adore Santa with heart.

Early X mas

This TH's configuration box was waiting to be used for a while...and here it is.
Our Xmas window decoration.
I just adore the little lantern that lights up the box.
It's much prettier in real life than in the photo. :-)

Kids are adorable!

Love my kids!
My boy is 4,5 and my little princess is 1,5 years old. I love them to bits and beyond.

And of course both of them want to help me, when my creativity wants to get out. Usually I do my creative things when they are asleep, but sometimes we all get around the table and we do our stuff  and get creative! I encourage them (well for now it is just my son)  to do their own birthday cards or some sort of pictures for family and friends.

This set of BD cards was made for their little cousine Enya.
This card was made by my son and I let them do what he wanted and with whatever embelishments. This is what he came up with. In the center he used a stamp from Vladka and it says Happy birthday.

This one is made by my daughter, of course with a little help from me. She decided what colour to use and where she wants to put embelishments. She put glue on paper and glued feather, buttons and flowers on. I helped her with sticking letters and with teh stamp (stamps by Vladka).

This one was made by me for a newborne baby girl. I used feathers and Vladka's stamps.

My princess

This was made for my girl's 1,5 year BD. I know it's a bit silly, but she was 1 year and a half and I thought I should make her something to remember. This is it...for my princess! Love you my baby!!!!!

handsome trisome

same same but different

This handsome trisome was made under the influence of this new technique (see the previous blog entry). I'm not keen on doing three same cards at the same time but this three, I loved doing them together. They are all different, but same same (as would in Thailand say....same same but different).

June's tag inspired by TH

It's almost end of June...but I finally got the time to post this. This tag was made for my mom's b'day. For her present we gave her golf lessons...hence the tag and the "golf" theme. Since I did not have the photo to colour I used a printed picture which I coloured with inks and on top of it I applied a coat of clear cracle paint.

Of course the tag was inspired by Tim Holtz and his June's tag. I'm posting it on his 12 tags of 2012 web page.

I'm entering this one to:
- simon says stamp challenge (anything BUT a card).

Tree of life

Life is changing...changes are good....it's time for a new job....big changes in our lifes....I hope it's for the best.

Tree of life....life is full of flowers....

I made background out of dots...with home-made stencil. I used distress inks....spring colours....a Kaleidoscope of Colour. A tree is a stamp from Hero arts. Flowers on it are punched out of Basic Grey paper pads and attached with TH's mini fasteners. Then I made this banner out of BG paper, distressed it and inked it and put letters on. Then I just added this brad with a bird....and here it is....a birthday card with a meaning! :-)

Another detail...

Backgrounds and different techniques

Latelly I am playing with different backgrounds. I try different techniques using different media.
As I was saying I discovered Distress stains. I bought it just now, bacause before I was not sure what to do with them, but I love it.
Anyway, playing with different media and different layers, experimenting ... and I just adore the final results. I love the background that I am making following this procedure:
- first I use distress inks /stains (two or more colours, it looks best if its dark colours) on all tag/card area
- then I spray a water mixed with perfect perls on to the big background stamp
- stamp the tag/card just with water and let it dry....it looks amazing!!!!

and now to todays tag...it is fun and inspired by Mr. Tim himself and his 12 tags of 2012.

A lot of techniques on this tag. :-) First of all I embossed with clear embossing powder small dots. Then I inked the whole tag with distress inks (Vintage photo, Fired brick, Shabby shutters, Peeled paint, Aged Mahogony). Then I water stamped background TH Papilon stamp. The bird was inked and painted with clear rock candy crackle paint then let it dry. I added a crown and flower. Some Tim HOltz's trinklets and some ribbons. I also stamped some twirls with black ink to give it more drama. And voila....

I am entering this to:

- 12 tags of 2012 (April - embossing)
- Simon Says Stamps Challenge (Flowers)
- Simon Says Stamp and Show (A Lord Tim Technique)
- The Artistic Stamper (Ribbons and Lace).

Eggs + bunnies = Easter time

This set of Easter cards were inspired by Tim Holtz. I love mosaics and the technique TH presented in this month tag (12 tags of 2012), so I made eggs using this technique. I used Basic Gray paper, Distress inks and Stains. I just love Distress Stains. Love
love love.....it's too bad that I found (bought) it just now.....I love it...and I want every colour. Backgrounds are done by Inks and Stains.

I am entering this card to:
